What??? Sorry, I can’t hear you over my socks!
Yeah, it is a little noisy in here! Sorry, you want to know what’s flatter than a moose? Wha… ohh, what PATTERN did I USE! Right. It is Hermione’s Everyday Socks, from Dreams in Fiber. Although I’m not sure that Hermione really would wear this particular rendition. Sorry did you say something else? Where is the nearest barn? I don’t really know, there… oh sorry, Where did I get that YARN!! Yeah, that makes more sense. It is my own Joey’s House hand dye, called Some Day We’ll Find It. I did this skein quite a while ago and it has been languishing, poor thing.
I liked this pattern – easy to memorize, easy to find your place when you pick it back up again, but not boring. Especially with yarn that flashes more than a Vacancy sign on a cheap motel.
So, that has been two retina searing sock projects in a row. What’s next?
