Y’know when you have a couple of projects on the needles, perfectly good, nicely behaved projects, projects that really do deserve to be finished – or at least worked on – and all you can think of is starting another project? Like maybe mittens. Or a new pair of socks? Or something? And this feeling of wanting to start something is not being helped by the fact that it was kind of a stressful week. And you’re thinking that a new project would kinda take the edge off. But also, you’re thinking that you should be a good little knitter, and keep to the projects you have. After all, one is a Christmas present. The other is a new toy design. Should that not be enough to keep a knitter happy? Shouldn’t it? Well??? Hey, are you even listening?? What are you looking at? The yarn? What yarn?
Easily distracted lot, aren’t you? No, I did not just go get that from my stash. I have two projects on the go already, remember? Present? Toy? Hello?? How did it get here? Well, really I have no idea. It must have been the Stash Gnomes. Messy little things, they’re always leaving yarn laying about. It is pretty though, isn’t it? Araucania Atacama, 100% Alpaca hand dyed in Chile. I think it’s going to look very pretty all knit up. Now where are my needles… Oh please, like you could pass up hand dyed Alpaca. Nice try. Now go away, I have mittens to make.
