A super easy sweater that should fit a number of toys It is about 11.5cm/4.5″ long and 10 cm/4″ wide when finished.
4.5mm double pointed needles (US 7)
Worsted weight yarn
Gauge: 4st/inch
Body:
The body of the sweater is knit flat and then seamed.
Cast on 20
Garter stitch 3 rows.
Switch to stockinette stitch. Continue until piece is 12cm/4.75” long.
Neck:
Row 1: k 6, cast off 8, k 6
Row 2: k6, cast on 8, k6
Continue until both sides are equal, remembering to do the last 3 rows in garter stitch.
Cast off.
Mattress stitch sides shut about 5cm/2” up from the bottom. Leave rest open for arm holes.
Arms:
Arms are knit in the round.
Pick up and knit 20 sts around arm hole. Knit for 5 cm/2” or 14 rows.
Purl the next 2 rows.
Cast off.
Neck:
Neck is knit in the round.
Pick up and knit 20 sts around neck opening.
Knit 4 rows.
Cast off very loosely

this is a very easy pattern. I’m a novice knitter and i had no problem with this sweater pattern.
