No, of course not! All those ends! Yikes! I carried both colours up the inside of the sock until the transition was finished, then cut the colour that I wasn’t using any more. Still a lot of ends, but they are easily managed during a good movie.

Wow, awesome. So did you actually cut and start with the new yarn during EVERY changeover, including the ones where it’s just one round of old color then one round of new? Thanks for sharing this!

A friend just introduced me to your blog….and I love it! You and I share a fondness for BRIGHT! …..and, sadly, also for the hat thing. The part about hats? It is so true for me…knitted hats look totally ridiculous on me. I have knit quite a few for my family and always try them on before giving them away in the hopes that I have found ‘The One’ but always wince when I look in the mirror. I had just about given it up as a lost cause when I slipped on a hat I was making for one of my daughters for Christmas. It was the Orbitus Hat by Kelly McClure of Bohoknits Patterns. I couldn’t stop staring at myself…it was hat love.! As soon as I finish what I’m working on, I’ll be making one for me
