Ok, so I decided not to call them Green socks, ha, although it was tempting. These are Crocodylia Socks – or, if you’re Joey, Crocomagator socks, hee.
An easy to manage rib pattern makes scale-like armour over your feet and legs, and continues onto the heel if you like.
They’re knit from the top down, with a heel flap heel and regular toe. You can easily size them up or down to pretty much any size, and there are instructions to help you with that. The pattern could be worn by anyone, at least to my way of thinking, and easy enough for a beginner sock knitter. And while they look armour-like they have the benefit of a ribbing’s warm squishy-ness.
